WHAT IS CONSTANT VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER OR CVT ?

In Constant Voltage Transformers the Input or Primary winding and Output or Secondary winding are physically separated from each other, this process is called as galvanic isolation and this ensures that there is no direct link between the input supply and output load. The CVT act as a impeccable barrier to these problems of electrical spikes and high frequency noise etc. This barrier also works in reverse mode to prevent a 'noisy' load from polluting the mains supply itself.
CVT creates a magic by converting any waveform including Square Wave to prefect sine wave output.
We have done some research at our factory and measured the actual reading and images with the help of oscilloscope. We are surprised to note that even a square wave input waveform is perfectly converted to pure sine wave output by these constant voltage transformer. You can clearly see the input square wave with lot of harmonics content and several spikes but the result given by purevolt CVT is exceptional as CVT resonant circuit regenerates the waveform all input signals can be absorbed and output as a perfect sine wave In our Ferro Resonant type Constant Voltage Transformers - CVT, the AC mains power the input winding, which is widely separated physically from the isolated output winding. The input winding normally runs at very moderate Flux linkage levels. The output winding exhibits an intrinsic energy characteristic and this energy storage operate in conjunction with mains capacitor to produce self-generated AC flux Field which is indirectly extracted from the Input Winding.
These Constant Voltage transformer or CVT use a tank circuit composed of a high-voltage resonant winding and a capacitor to produce a nearly constant average output with a varying input. The ferroresonant approach is attractive due to its lack of active components, relying on the square loop saturation characteristics of the tank circuit to absorb variations in average input voltage.
The ferroresonant action is a flux limiter rather than a voltage regulator, but with a fixed supply frequency it can maintain an almost constant average output voltage even as the input voltage varies widely.
All problems related to variation / fluctuation in Voltages is effectively handled because of this principle and a constant voltage output of ± 1% is given.
